Routes
Mostly we go for technical trails with nice views in places with big hills and lots of rocks. You won't find any canal towpath pootles, any routes in Oxford or on the Norfolk Broads. December 28, 2003

Anyone with the slightest interest in getting airborne really should get down to Chicksands (Rowney Warren, near Letchworth). "But what's there?", I hear you cry. April 20, 2004
The first rule of North Shore is that you don't talk about where the trails are. The second rule of North shore is that you don't talk about where the trails are. Er... No. With the High Action North Shore trails in Cheddar; the planks at Mabie and Glentress; and the ewok village at Esher; North Shore trails are coming out from the secret hiding places (that only you and your best riding mates know about) into official riding spaces. So shout it across the rooftops. Or better still, go and ride some planks. December 06, 2002
The Cut Gate path has to rate up there as one of the greats as far as UK trails go. It's got the lot. Rocks, singletrack, supertechnical climbs, a brown inducing descent and it can be ridden both ways. We like it lots.

Edale > Mam Tor > Hayfield > Edale. We rode this after we beat the Germans 5-1 at their manor. Needless to say, it didn't make it any easier.

The Quantock Hills has some of the best singletrack I've ridden anywhere in the UK. It's taken some time to sort out, but here's a route that takes in a few of the local gems. This heads out from the friendly and cheap Orchard Caravan Park. February 02, 2003
A health inducing loop of the Surrey Hills with a penchant for breaking riders and kit in mysterious circumstances. You have been warned.

Thanks to Jason for the roundup of what's to be found at Tilgate Forest.

It's a cracker, and being < 15 miles means it's ideal for a quick blast, although you'll need to bring spare clothes as you WILL get covered in shite, no matter what the weather. March 06, 2003
I've finally got round to getting the route map sorted and marked up with this classic loop from Talybont in Welshest Wales. Including the mighty Gap Road.
